The PLANET BOTTLE had a strategic alliance with The Planet Green Bottle Corporation.  The Planet Green Bottle owned the worldwide distribution rights for Reverte 93 172.  Reverte 93 172 reputedly was the world’s only additive that would make the PET plastic bottle oxo-biodegradable.

In November, 2011 after spending 3½ years and better then $3,500,000 The Planet Green Bottle stopped buying Reverte and effectively caused the termination of its long term contract with Wells Plastics, Ltd of the UK.

The Planet Green executives are experts answering the following questions: “Are Biodegradable Additives used in the manufacture of the PET plastic bottles eco-responsible?  Or eco-irresponsible? 

Are brand owners who are using biodegradable additives setting themselves up for charges of greenwashing?
